i am interested in and revel in revealing process in my work. i see process as narrative and narrative as process. for me the way into process/narrative is through the seams which hold a thing together. like the photo of my dad’s cut knee, the narrative is his life spent constantly on the go suddenly rendered motionless, and the way into this story is through the scar and the staples which hold together the pieces of flesh.
