…one of my first pieces using digital editing (with Sound Designer, the predecessor to Pro Tools). The alphabet emerging from another orifice, from the beast, a dumb one on top of it. The prefix an- denies, flips around, inverses. The somatic interrupts with the order, the ordering. The only telos left is your rear end.
The allusion to the other orifice are metaphoric, all recordings were done with a microphone and a mouth.
