What can I tell you more about the trick type. It was an experiment that got everyones attention. It was featured in Computer Arts and on a lot of websites. ESPN Magazine asked for it and you saw the result.
All my fonts are first sketched down on a paper and afterwards I take them into illustrator. The experiment was to create an unique headline font. And there it is

Trick is my nickname. Thats why I name all the fonts like that. I was called “tricky fingaz” back in the days, when I was a graffiti artist.
as a headline font z type trick typographically has a beautiful resonance with the history of the letter z, challenging and countering conventional readability and ways of seeing, like the literary Zambinella in Barthes S/Z
